OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS BETTER. OUR STUDENTS DESERVE THE BEST.

On Dec. 9, 2024 the current Lewisville ISD School Board voted to close 5 elementary schools.

Despite large public opposition, all but one vote was unanimous.

Budget constraints and declining enrollment were the official justifications, but the facts don’t fit the narrative.

The budget will remain unbalanced, stable and growing schools will close, and the burden on parents, teachers, and students will increase.

The Board should represent, and be responsive to, the interests and input of the community - not the other way around.

“I’m running because our community deserves a board that truly listens to teachers, parents, and the community. Student success and wellbeing should always come first - and recently that hasn’t been the case. Support teachers, invest in students, and listen to the community - that’s what I stand for and that’s what I believe.”
